Adding listings to the Vintage Car Classics website involves several simple steps to ensure that the information is accurate, detailed, and appealing to potential buyers. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to add listings to our website:
- How to submit a “Classic Car” or “Spare Parts” Listing:
- Navigate to the “Listings” section in the main menu and then click on “Submit Listing”. Alternatively you can click on the “Submit Listing” button above.
- In the “Category” section type in the car makers name (or select from the drop down list) to sell a classic car or type in spare parts in “Category” to sell your spare parts.
- If the make of car is not available from the drop down list choose ‘other’ and during the approval process we will add the makers name to our drop down list to ensure your car is listed in the correct category listings.
- When you have chosen the makers name or spare parts in the “Category” the additional fields will automatically appear for you to fill in.
- Provide Basic Vehicle Information:
- Enter essential details about the car, such as make, model, year, mileage, your location and of course the price. Include accurate information to attract the right buyers.
- Upload Photos:
- Upload high-quality photos of the car from various angles, both interior and exterior. Clean, well-lit photos can significantly improve the listing’s appeal. We allow up to 30 images and a video so take advantage of this to showcase different features.
- Specify Vehicle Features:
- Fill in details about the car’s features, including transmission type, fuel type, engine size, colour, and any additional features .
- Set the Price:
- Research the market value of your car and set a competitive and realistic price. Consider factors such as the car’s condition, mileage, and any additional features when determining the price.
- Write a Compelling Description:
- Craft a detailed and honest description of the car. Highlight its key features, any upgrades or modifications, and its overall condition. Be transparent about any issues or defects to build trust with potential buyers.
- Review and Confirm:
- Double-check all the information you’ve entered to ensure accuracy. Review your listing for any errors or missing details before confirming and submitting it.
- Submit Listing:
- When you click on the “Submit Listing” button you will be directed to the “Select Package” page. Select the package that best suits your requirements.
- A private person wanting to sell just one car or spare parts would choose the “Free” listing.
- Dealers, with a number of cars to sell or spare parts would select the “Dealers Package” that best suits their needs.
- Registered users should log in to their account. If you have not registered as a user you will be prompted to create an account first.
- Manage Inquiries:
